Shack Parrish - President
Shack’s roots in Central Kentucky predate the civil war years.  As a young man he worked at Claiborne Farm, prepped yearlings for Stonereath and spent four summers working the Midwest Hunter/Jumper circuit.  Upon graduating from Transylvania University, Shack joined the United States Air Force.  In 1974, he joined the family business, the Clay Ward Agency.  He has overseen the farm operations for more than two decades.
 

Mike Evans - Farm Manager
Mike is a product of the Bluegrass horse farms.  His father was broodmare manager at Spendthrift Farm when it was owned by the flamboyant Leslie Combs, III.  Mike has spent his entire life living and working with thoroughbreds.  Prior to moving to Indian Creek as farm manager, Mike spent 12 years at the Margaux Farm, where he managed the operations for more than nine years.  It is Mike’s vast experience and his attention to detail that makes Indian Creek one of the finest thoroughbred farms in Central Kentucky.
 

Alex Gans - Sales
Alex attended American University and graduated from University of Louisville, receiving a Bachelor of Arts—Equine Business.  During summers, he worked at Hermitage Farm in Goshen, Kentucky preparing sale yearlings.  He also worked as a veterinarian assistant.  For the past two years, Alex has worked for trainer, Todd Pletcher.

Doug Green - Assistant Farm Manager
Doug has worked more than 10 years at Indian Creek, where he also lives with his wife and their three children.  He has earned his position the hard way. Starting at the bottom and working his way up, Doug has gained hands-on experience with all aspects of the farm.  In addition to assisting with overall farm management duties, Doug manages the foaling and breeding operation.
 

Todd Fischer - Sales
Todd also grew up on a thoroughbred horse farm.  He is a transplant from the Golden State of California.  He grew up learning the ropes from his parents in the central valley region.  Since moving to Kentucky in 1995 Todd has been working with Mike Evans, first at Margaux Farm and now at Indian Creek.  He lives in Bourbon County with his wife, Edna.  Todd wears multiple hats at Indian Creek.  In addition to representing the farm on the West Coast, Todd works the Kentucky sales and provides equine care services on the farm.  He is a great asset to Indian Creek on and off the farm.
 

Tony Adams - Sales Preparation Manager
Tony, like Mike, was born and raised on thoroughbred horse farms.  He has worked at Indian Creek since 1995, where he lives with his wife and their two teenaged daughters.  In addition to his responsibilities as yearling manager, Tony oversees all sales preparation.  
 

Teresa Bruner - Office Administrative Assistant 
Teresa is a life-long resident of the Bluegrass Country, currently residing on a small farm in Bourbon County with her two children and three horses.  She has an extensive experience in customer service and strong computer skills, giving her the perfect background for her role at Indian Creek.  She is responsible for maintaining our client's records and coordinating client communications.
