A little first foal looking size wise, but very nicely made and has quality. Has put on good condition since birth and is a lovely color with great balance. Toes in from the ankle left hind, we pushed out on first trim and will put an extension on if needed. Pushed out both fronts slightly, pretty straightforward.
This colt has done really well in the last few weeks, would consider him average size now and his condition is perfect. He’s even forward through his body now and is quite fancy, plenty of substance for a Constitution. We are still guiding him out in front slightly, looks to be holding so we should be in good shape limb wise.
Doing great, still just keeping him pushed out both front and watching his knees. He’s keeping his weight well and should be fine to wean here in the next group. Very smooth, super mover and just has a really nice way of carrying himself. Type of foal who could do well in Nov but lean towards keeping him to raise and see how he develops as a yearling.
